Citra's source code is available on. The night before, I was playing Fire Emblem Fates. Everything was working perfectly fine before I went to bed, and the next day I get back and it gives me this error 'System Archive Not Found.' It says I have to dump system archives etc. The citra site mentions why this happens, but not for my case.
You need to do this for certain games, or when you reach certain parts of the game etc. I was in the middle of a chapter before i got off the night before. So I don't know what happened.
I can't dump the files because I don't own a 3ds. Any ideas on what I could do? I can't get this error to happen to me. I just loaded my save just fine. Well anyway, I know what caused the issue, I just don't know what the fix is. So as a work around in the mean time, I'm going to remove the PR thats causing the problem and try to force a new build for bleeding edge. In the meantime, if someone wants to do a little testing to make sure my suspiscions are correct, I'd love it if someone with this issue would first try replicating the issue in the latest nightly build and then compare it to this build (which is just the latest nightly + the code change that I think breaks it for people) If my suspicions are correct, the error should happen in the second link but not the first.
As soon as something triggers a build:S been trying to get a way to manually trigger a build past the person responsible for the hosting server, but its taking a long while. Currently the only thing that triggers a build is a push to master (when any code gets merged) which i know is kinda silly. If i had my way, we would be building everytime ANY code in bleeding edge gets updated, which would be like 8 times a day haha.
But maybe thats too frequent. Lets just say we haven't found the 'perfect' times to launch a build yet. Hi, this is a result of my PR that makes a dialog when the system archives are missing in an attempt to make it easier to pinpoint what went wrong,. What I didn't realize, though (A reviewer pointed this out on a smaller scale, but I didn't expect it to be much of a problem.), was that there were scenarios in which there could be missing system files, but the game would still run seemingly without any harm. I'll try to get a fix out in the next few days, for now it will be removed from BE builds, my apologies.
